![]() ![]() While I’ve not found the exact game yet, Brick Breaker is a fun way to get the same game squished onto my phone. I remember playing a game like it back in the 90s on an old Macintosh, and since then, I’ve been looking for it again. Your point total will be added to the bonus bar at the end of the level, and as you fill the bonus bar, you’ll earn rubies. Your points per brick increase with each brick that you knock off. Pick your best shot, fire your 100-ball train, and watch it rip through as many bricks as possible. The best are probably the ones that give you special abilities–you can make the paddle larger, smaller, inversed, upgrade to power balls, get extra balls, and get faster balls.īrick Breaker is a fun game. Note: Refer to Appendix B for Oral Reading Fluency National Norms and diagnostic instruction information. The 100 ball challenge is literally a one-shot challenge. There are 30 levels and an array of brick types to break. It’s also not the most beautiful it could possibly be, but again, it’s good enough, and it doesn’t distract from the game like many other clones do. However, it still has the same physics and features of the original game, making it “good enough” for most anyone involved. Do you remember playing Breakout or Arkanoid, the game in which you bounce a ball off a paddle to break bricks, on your old Atari or at the arcade? I do! And now, you can get that same game on your phone with the free, ad-supported Brick Breaker.īrick Breaker, like all other apps with the exact same name, is not an official Atari- or Taito-sanctioned clone of Breakout. ![]()
